Abstract

The authors studied on antiarrhythmic and arrhythmytogenic effects of amisalin (procaine amide), C. N. B, (caffeine & natrium benzoate), coramine(nikethamide), vitacamphor and glucose on the artificial induced arrhythmias in the rabbits. The results obtained were as follow;
1. Sinus slowing, ectopic beats and inceased amplitudes of QRS-T complex were developed dy intravenous injection of hypertension or nor-epinephrine in the rabbits.
2. Amisalin prevented most effectively the ectopic beats which were induced by intravenous injection of hypertensin or nor-epinephrine.
3. C.N.B. lessened the effects of hypertensinon or nor-epinephrine.
4. Vitacamphor seemed to lessen the effects of hypertensin, but poorly, and there showed no significant effects against nor-eipnephrine arrhythmias.
5. Gramine had no signifcant effects agaist hypertensin arrhythmias, whereas seemed to potentiate the arrhythmytogenic effects of nor-epineprine.
6. Glucose had no effects against hypertension or nor-epinephrine arrhythmias at all.
